Our friends at iZotope have announced the next version of their award winning audio repair software RX, with RX4.

Buiding on an already impressive set of features RX4 offers;

RX Loudness Control Host Compatibility RX Loudness Control is currently compatible as plug-ins for Pro Tools 10-12, Media Composer 7-8, and Premiere Pro CC. Additional host support is under development. To edit audio from Pro Tools in RX: Open your Avid Pro Tools session. Navigate to the AudioSuite menu, find the “Noise Reduction” or “iZotope” sub-menu and select RX Connect. Select a clip in the Timeline and/or in the Clip List (depending on the Selection Reference mode you are using in the.

iZotope Vinyl currently supports Pro Tools, VST, and DirectX formats, and with the upcoming release, iZotope's entire line of 64-bit effects systems including TrashT, SpectronT, and OzoneT will support all Pro Tools (HTDM, RTAS, AudioSuite), VST, and DirectX host applications.

Ozone 3 for Pro Tools, VST, and DirectX will be available for $299 to new customers and $49 to current Ozone 3 DirectX customers. Trash for Pro Tools, VST, and DirectX will be available for $199 to new customers and $39 to current Trash DirectX customers. Spectron for Pro Tools, VST, and DirectX will be available for $99 to new customers and $29 to current Spectron DirectX customers. All plug-ins will ship on CDs with extra content for an additional $29.
