¡HELP!

In order to input instruments like your bass and guitar, you'd need to get an interface that plugs into the dock connector like the Apogee Jam. Hey there. I've had an annoying problem after the last upgrade on my Ipad 2 mini (ios 9.3.5): Everytime I plug in my Bass or Guitar, it seems that the Ipad doesn`t recognize my Irig and automatically activates the Ipad's internal mic instead as the only audio source received.

I've tried the configurations I've found here and in other forums like deactivating the mono audio option (which it wasn't activated) and disabling the crosstalk option on the garageband's configuration (it was also deactivated). ¡I've even reset garageband and the ipad itself! None of these things worked.

I've also used a brand new Irig 2 HD just to make sure if the other one was damaged and actually there was no positive result. Then I tried using the irig on my iphone, and it worked perfectly well, so the problem definitely lies on the Ipad.

I'm wondering what's wrong with this. If anyone can give me a clue, I'll be so grateful...I'm just about to get rig of this thing. It's frustrating.
