Please tell, that on logging in, when multiple devices are seen in contact list window, at that time, remote control does not require user id. Open TeamViewer and navigate to Extras Options. Now, go to the Security tab and change the password under ‘Permanent Password for Unattended access’. You can now get a permanent ID by setting up permanent access from the Home Screen.

You cannot control a remote computer without the ID and password. Without the ID Teamviewer doesn't know which device to control. Without the password you are not allowed to connect.
