There should be no reason why it will still not work, just test it thoroughly before using live.

TRAKTOR KONTROL D2 is designed to fully integrate in a 4-Deck TRAKTOR setup consisting of two units: one to control the left-hand side Decks A (Track Deck) and C (Remix Deck), and another one to control the right-hand side Decks B (Track Deck) and D (Remix Deck).

Traktor Pro 4 Decks Free

This is a mapping for the Kontrol X1 MK2 in Midi mode, it will not effect the default functions.
This mapping gives access to controls for all 4 Traktor decks. It replicates the default mapping for Kontrol X1 MK2 as closely as possible.

Set the NHL mode to control decks A and B when connecting the device / starting Traktor.
To enter Midi mode hold shift, left load and right load together. You will now have control of decks C and D.
To return to NHL mode hold shift, left load and right load together. Traktor Pro 4 DecksYou will now have control of decks A and B.


  • Unzip the download file.
  • Load the .nckx1m2 file using NI controller editor.
  • Import the .tsi file to Traktor
Current Limitations (Only when in MIDI mode)
  • Cue LED colours are not all correct. White is no Cue, Pale blue is Grid, the others are coloured as on screen.
  • The Touchstrip can only control 1 deck a time, the deck it controls is selected by touching the loop encoders. Load Left/Right LEDs indicate which is being controlled.
  • When deck is not playing Touchstrip functions as jog turn moves the playhead / scratches).
  • When deck is playing Touchstrip pitchbends. Touching the outer left portion will slow the track, the outer right portion will speed up the track.
  • When shift is pressed the Touchstrip acts a jog turn (playing) and needle drop (paused).
  • LEDs do not always update when switching modes. To be safe push shift and either load left or right to update all LEDs.
  • The Number LEDs do not show real values only 0 to 127 to show the control value (63 is middle).

Traktor Kontrol Z14D [4 Deck Mixer]

This mapping requires Traktor Pro 2.6.2 and above.

Here is a 4 Deck solution for the Kontrol Z1. Very simple yet effective. To control Decks C/D press the Filter On button. When the On button is illuminated you are controlling Deck C/D.

Setup Instructions

  1. Download the mapping.
  2. Unzip the file.
  3. Open Traktor Pro 2 Software.
  4. Click the Preferences icon from the top right menu.
  5. Select Controller Manager from the list on the left.
  6. Click Add… from the Device list at the top of the window.
  7. Find the unzipped mapping file, and click Open.
  8. Put the Kontrol Z1 into MIDI Mode by pressing Mode + Cues A&B. *MIDI Mode must be enabled in the Kontrol Z1 menu in the left.
  9. Delete the standard Kontrol Z1 Mapping from the Device list.
